FAQ
What should i bring?
You don't have to bring anything special unless you want to. Props can customize your images and make them more personal. Do not be afraid to get creative with your props. I will capture it all in a special way and you will never pay anything extra!
Once booked can i reschedule?
Yes, Upon booking I ask for a non-refundable retainer. That amount will be kept and placed towards your session no matter when the date. There may be penalties for rescheduling multiple times.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Most sessions last 1 to 2 hours. If you are not happy with the poses we have gotten within that time frame and there are no planned sessions after yours i would be more than happy to stay and shoot a few extra shots.
What kind of gear do you use?
While there really is no right or wrong answer to this question, I am a Nikon kind of girl.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, My prints are of the highest quality and printed in a professional photographer only lab. However you are welcome to have them printed at your own convience.
What should I wear?
This is a great question. During your FREE Consultation I will be sure to go over this with you. There are a few factors that play into this such as location. No matter what you choose, we want you to be comfortable while looking your best! Once your session has been booked be sure to keep a look out in your email for my style guide!
How long after my session will it take to see my images?
To ensure your images are as perfect as you are, I like to tell my clients it will be about 2 weeks. Don't worry I will be sure to send a sneak peek!
How far in advance should I schedule my session?
If you have a set that you need your images by, I would recommend scheduling your session at least 4 weeks before that desired date.
What to expect..
It all starts with you reaching out!
At the beginning I love to discover what you are looking for in your photography experience. I have found the best way to do this is by offering my clients a FREE consultation! During the consultation we will go over your vision, your likes and dislikes and who you are as a person. I will show a few images of my past work that are close to your vision just to ensure you love my work and I am the best fit for you! Once everything gets the greenlight we will go over paperwork and get your experience set in my book!
Next is picture day! Relax and have fun. I will give you ideas and directions throughout your experience to help you feel at ease. The best photos are the candid photos because you are at your most relaxed state, so joke around, laugh and have a great time! Each session can take 1-2 hours, depending upon the package you select. I will pay attention to fine detail so you don't have to and ensure you will love every photograph! Once the photographing is over I know you will be super excited to see your images! Your viewing gallery will be ready to view within 2 weeks following your session. Why does it take so long? I hand edit every image to ensure every detail is perfect! My clients deserve the best quality and experience. Don't worry though I will be sure to send a sneak peek!
Now it's time to view your images! I will walk you through all of your amazing images and how you can download them to your computer. My sessions only include digital content in the price, I find that this is the easiest all-inclusive option for my clients in today's fast paced world. If you decide you would like to have prints or products, I got you covered! Together we will choose the images you would like to have printed. Once your order has been placed it will take 2-3 weeks for your prints and products to arrive. Why does it take so long? I use a professional photographer only lab that uses amazing technology to ensure your photos are the best of the best! My lab typically ships within 5 days, so there is a chance you could have your beautiful products back much sooner but I love to give my clients that 2-3 weeks expectation so you all know what to expect.
To end your experience I will hand deliver anything you ordered and ensure it meets your expectations! Once the final touches are all said and done it would mean the world to me if you would flood your social media with how much you loved your experience with my business.
